The Ideas College will cater for students that have not achieved to their full potential in a mainstream school setting and been identified as benefiting from a creative curriculum.

Students will have a core curriculum where they will study five GCSEs including Maths, English and Media alongside a Level Two General Studies module. Working with local secondary schools, students will have the opportunity for additional study and to achieve up to eight GCSEs, including Sciences, Humanities and Languages.

With its strong creative industry links, the College is able to provide mentoring and work placements in top creative media and communications agencies.

Students may progress onto the Pre Foundation Diploma in Art & Design at Ravensbourne University College or other post 16 training courses at a number of specialist digital media schools.

The College will be part of the local community and student will be involved in conservation work, and community arts projects.

This high quality learning experience will be delivered by qualified and dedicated subject teachers.  The College will have an expectation of high standards of academic achievement, personal presentation and a full commitment to learning, participation, good behaviour and attendance.
